The penultimate entry in The Witcher series still maintains a relatively high level of quality. A lot happens, and yet in terms of the overarching story, not that much really does - but this is okay as Sapkowski continues to explore his characters in more depth. I am excited to see how it concludes.

I appreciate how each Witcher book is structured. Here, while there's not a ton of movement in the plot (outside of some specific events with Yennefer and Ciri) it remains engaging because of Sapkowski's strong understanding of his characters.

Good stuff. Read it as an audiobook for when I drove. Ciri was great. Needed less Geralt being kind of a loser. Overall, very enjoyable.
