Content was good, but the format of the story is not conducive for individuals who have issues keeping track of dates in their head. If I had a calendar in front of me which visually portrayed the events in the book, I probably would have been able to follow the timeline. As it stands, the chain of events presented were incredibly difficult for me to follow because of the timeline presented.

I find it surprisingly hard to keep track of the politics in this series with no map. It makes some aspects of the story significantly less entertaining. I do really enjoy the parts about Ciri though, and the story is becoming more and more about her.

It's just okay. I think there are way too many chapters about random people and not enough Ciri and Geralt. Some of these chapters are good though and the ending is very entertaining.

Another great entry. This one moved away from Geralt and focused predominantly on Ciri. Still the same excellent and storytelling you've come to expect. Though with this entry I am starting to wish that there are more monster hunting. For story that focuses on the Witcher, I think that's probably the most glaring weakness so far. The first two books had very interesting monster lore but I notice that there is a definite lack of monster hunting going on. That said, the lack of monster hunting doesn't detract from an excellent entry.
