Chapman’s Love Languages book has been a blessing to my marriage. This book applies the same lens to your relationship with God. It’s hard to articulate why, but I struggled to make it through this one. Perhaps due to what felt let an excessive number of examples. That said, I am glad I read it and gleaned several anpplicable insights from it.

Gary Chapman explains from a Christian perspective how God loves us and how we love Him through the 5 languages of love. It was insightful to see why I feel love from God through means that correlate with my love languages. It was also interesting to see why I love certain aspects of worship over others because of how I show love to God similarly to how I show love to others.

I love the idea of this book so much. It just didn't really get to the depths I was hoping for. While he hits on certain ways God may be speaking our Love Language to us, there seem to be so many more examples that could have drawn readers in to God's love.

The best part about this book was the way it encouraged me to think about the many ways God speaks our Love Language to us (beyond what's actually suggested in the book). It has helped me in my evangelization efforts to desire to connect each person I encounter with the expression of God's love that will best resonate with them.

Good book on recognizing your primary love language and how you could use it to express your love to God. Use biblical examples of how God speaks our love language. I liked the part about having thanksgiving prayer

A bland re-write of the Love Languages. Not really worth reading.
