Very dry compared to some of his later books- perfect for bedtime, in my opinion, because it’s a pleasant plot with lots of setting descriptions and very few ‘page turner’ moments reminiscent of the later Vimes novels.

I was listening to this one on audiobook, but I wasn't that invested and I let too much time pass - so much so that I barely remember anything about it.
I don't think I will try this book again. It's not like the book was bad, but it was mostly just okay and I don't really want to spend more time with it. This is definitely one of the weakest entries in the series.
