this is pretty much the same as the love hypothesis but that doesn’t mean it was a good read, i love the forced proximity trope 2 stars i just wished it was a more interesting book

4 ⭐️ honestly?? this was so fun and cute!!
if you look past the “he is so tall and huge and broad and he’s a mountain of a man and no one knows how he fits through doorways because he is just That tall” and “she is a quirky tiny petite fairy”, i actually enjoyed Love on the Brain a lot (and way more than The Love Hypothesis).
- levi is The dream man and he has a personality and a backstory and he’s down horrendous for bee and it’s so adorable. and he likes cats?? he is everything to me
- bee and levi’s interactions are so precious and they’re so right for each other and i’ll protect them with my Life if i have to
- they’re co-leads on a project and we get an enemies (but not really, they’re just miserably failing at communication for a few years) to lovers moment!! love!! and no questionable power dynamics or awkward sitting-on-his-lap-at-a-conference moments when they’re working, which i appreciate. he didn’t Save her from the evil men in STEM either, he was just supportive and lovely and stood up for her whenever he could.
- cats!!
- the hidden identity trope was executed so well here (even though we all Knew from the very beginning, it was still cute!!)
- loved all of the side characters too <3
the humor didn’t always work for me on the account of it being so very millennial + ali hazelwood needs the ™️ button taken away from her IMMEDIATELY but overall i had a great time and i am excited to read her third novel later this year <3

The Love Hypothesis was a five star read for me, and this one was really good but not quite as good. Still really enjoyed it though!!!
