Idk i just felt like this book could have been half the length. Since alot of it is repetitive from a touch of Malice, and another chunk is tension and smut, i just feel like the plot kinda got away from me a bit.
Alas , I am eager to read a Touch of Chaos and Im hoping for a bit more editing to go into it 😬 I really love Hecate and i am anxious to see how all this olympian tension plays out.

Not my favorite book in the series but a good book nonetheless. I loved the spice, the relationship growth between Hades and Persephone, and the strength and intensity of so many female characters specifically Hecate. I didn't enjoy everything involving Dionysus, how similar this read to A Touch of Malice, and that cliffhanger!

Of all the books of the saga, this is my least favourite one. I am so sad because I have always enjoyed Hades's POV a tiny bit more than Sephy, and I felt underwhelmed with this book. Probably it was the Dionysius and Theseus. With D, it happened to me that I couldn't connect with them, his POV was all about how horny he was for Ari. I simply didn't care about them. I needed more background, I guess. With Theseus, it was simply what a villain would do, I didn't need a whole ass explanation why he was the villain. It felt just gross. Hermes, as always, has my favourite lines and I want to be his friend.

Of all the books so far in the Hades Saga (and the Persephone x Hades saga) - I would have to say this was my least favorite. The end half of the book was much more captivating then the beginning - so I am invested in seeing where the next book goes.

I’ve been reading this series in tandem and loved the first books but this one didn’t hold my interest as much. It dragged on a bit and I had no interest in the perspectives other than Hades.

I really enjoyed this book. This was probably my favorite storyline so far and it was great to read Hades' perspective. I loved the interactions with Hermes and Hectate. Dionysus was fine, but didn't keep me entertained as much as the Hades x Persephone story. Can't believe I have to wait over two months for the finale!!!

We’re almost to the end of this series, and the books just keep getting better!
Content warning: There is explicit, on page, attempted (but ultimately unsuccessful) sexual assault in AGOG. There are also flashbacks to sexual assault, mentions of human trafficking, and the general death, murder, and alcoholism that Hades brings along for the ride.
AGOG is book 6 in the series, and the companion to A Touch of Malice, and boy oh boy, did Hades get up to some stuff while Persephone was off working.
Side bar: Hades needs a therapist. Like…badly.

AGOG was such an emotional and dense book, but I still zoomed through it. I loved it, it made me feel all the feels. From crying, to heart bursting, to raging, all of it.
If you haven’t yet, you really need to read all 6 books in order before A Touch of Chaos comes out in November! The stories from Hades & Persephone’s worlds collide and we get multiple POVs in ATOC.
I can’t wait for the conclusion to this amazing series. It’s bittersweet; I want to stay forever.

I have read all the books in this series and have enjoyed each of them to varying degrees. Book one from Persephone's POV remains my favorite, but I have struggled a bit with the books from Hades' POV and I did struggle with this one.
I had yet to read A Game of Retribution when I started my reread of this series in preparation for reading this ARC. One thing that bothered me as I read through the series again and in order was the repetition of scenes, especially the spicy scenes. At times, that overlap felt tedious because the text itself was so similar and I caught myself skimming.
Where this book excels above the previous ones in the series is in the multi-POV approach. The added perspective of Dionysus and Theseus added a dimension to the story that I actually really enjoyed. Theseus is awful, but being aware of just how awful he really hints at the immense battle that Hades and Persephone will face in A Touch of Chaos. I do think we got a more thorough glimpse of Hades in this book as compared to the other two books from his perspective. He remains my favorite character in the series and the only major complaint that I have is that there was too much smut (I know that sounds nuts) instead of the deep dive into Hades character that I was itching for. It is for this reason that I have deducted stars. However, I am still very excited to read A Touch of Chaos when it comes out later this year.
