I rarely say this: This is a waste of paper. This "tie-in" features some vignettes that take place at various points before and during The Secret Invasion, but most of the book is taken up by Marvel Encyclopedia type entries of different characters who factor into Secret Invasion.

It's the kind of thing that might have been useful for a comic book reader before The Internet existed but now it's the kind of thing Marvel hopes you buy before reading it, as I don't know many people who would pick this up and think "I'd like to own this."

There is no reason to read this, evern if you're a completist.
