there were a few boring chapters but so funny and whimsical for the most part. i love anthropomorphic animals and i think both children and adults could gain something valuable from reading this. while it is a children’s book, it is quite poetic and philosophical.

Wind in the willows has never been my favorite story, Toad hall and the animals as they overcome different hurdles together.

Still a classic so what do i know.... Mainly read for a challenge so giving 3 star....

very cute! I kept on having to scrub back a chapter or two cause i would listen to this to fall asleep but this is just so whimsical and cozy

I'll for sure be recommending this book to everyone to read at least once in their life but I don't see myself coming back to this book until I have little ones to read this to

"Would you say the cast of characters is diverse?" Um there's literally a Mole, a Toad, a Badger, a Water Rat, a Sea Otter, and countless stoats and weasels. Not to mention they're all gay.
