Have you ever been so enthralled with a story you faked an illness to keep reading? No, me either. (cough, cough)

I couldn't stop! With the entire series calling me out on my kindle, it's impossible. So...I read. I read and I read.

I read about friends, sexy flirty friends, and even more panty melting men. I read about a closed off man and the woman falling for him. I ran the gambit of emotions from happy, annoyed, angry, and satisfaction to down right shivering. Shivering from lust or in the case of the to be continued ending...disgust.

I knew what was going to happen but kept hoping I was wrong. This Jett Girl just wants to party and shimmy. No drama...right?!

If only it were that easy...

Another Jett Girl book done and now I must wait for the next one.

I love this series so much. I just love Meghan Quinn in general. She has been on my favorite author list since I read Beers, Hens, and Irishman. I love her books.

Becoming A Jett Girl was one of my favorite books I read in 2014. If you are reading this review on my blog and look to your right, you will see the cover in my sidebar. I loved it.

Being a Jett Girl was just as good!

Lo & Jett.

When will their day come when they can just be?

When there is nothing out there trying to come at them or between them?

Lot 17 has been an issue that was threatening to rear up at them in book 1 and here in book 2 it is right in the middle of them. Lot 17 isn’t so much between them as the other person who wants Lot 17 for reasons that aren’t as good as Jett’s.

Now Jett has to keep Lo safe.

This is just as sexy as Becoming A Jett Girl and Meghan is an expert at interweaving humor that will have you laughing at loud in between the hot and steamy scenes. Lo and Kace are still at each other. I am dying to see Meghan write a book that is all for Kace on his own. I don’t know if she will but I would snatch that puppy up fast. Kace is hot and moody and broody. I can’t wait to see what woman settles him down and I’m wondering if it won’t be one of Jett’s girls.

Amazing sequel with all of my favorite characters coming back to make me laugh, want to cry, and hold out hope. I ran the gamut of emotions in this book as I usually do while reading Meghan Quinn’s work.

I loved it!

5 stars!

Thank you so much for my copy of Being A Jett Girl!

Bourbon Deceit is only book two in the series but HOLY HELL!!!

Goldie/Lo is still sassy as ever and holding her own with Jett. Jett is starting to open up to Goldie until all hell breaks loose with Leo (Jett’s dad) and Rex Titan (Goldie’s ex, if you really want to call him that).

While Goldie and Jett are smitten with each other even though Jett has yet to fully give himself to Goldie, there is one other thing standing in their way. Lot 17. It is the one thing that may tear Goldie and Jett apart. Without definite answers from Jett, Goldie looks for the truth any way she can find it. Is it really worth the cost of what they have?

Book two is amazing. I love the sarcasm, sexiness, all of the secondary characters especially all of the other Jett Girls and now Layla, Goldie’s old roommate. Every character brings something to the table and makes the story that much more.

And then we have to talk about THAT SCENE. The scene of all scenes….Kace, NAKED, in the shower?!?!?! OH MY GOD. I have no words for it. I literally had to stop and catch my breath. The level of hotness was off the charts!!

I am also very intrigued by a new character, Diego who is opening up his own club. Another hot, sexy alpha to add to the mix, I am VERY intrigued!!

Another outstanding book by Meghan Quinn and I cannot wait for Bourbon Kingdom!!

Great book 2!

I loved this book! Meghan Quinn knows how to write. I love the friendships between all the characters. I laughed out loud many times and when you are reading instead of working well let’s just say thank goodness I didn’t get caught. Can’t wait to see how this ends

I love the story plot but the main girl Goldie is really crude and I'm not sure that I like that in a main female character all the time.

this is book 2 in the Bourbon series,
book 1 ended with Goldie becoming a Jett girl and in this book the story continues.
Jett and Goldie are still sexy, steamy and swoony in this story.
this book ends on a cliffhanger but the 3rd instalment is already released so no fear!
I volunteered to read a copy of this book
this series has new book names and covers

REVIEW:
If you think the first Bourbon installment was a whirlwind of emotion smacking you in the face at every page, just wait until you read book two. I was seriously needing a strong drink after everything that happens, but damn this book was so good. Its strange to say how one seriously messed up guy and one nutty girl are so freaking right for each other, but I adored them both.

Being a Jett Girl picks up right where Becoming a Jett Girl left off. Lo aka Goldie is now officially a Jett Girl, she has found her place among the girls and slowly making her way into Jett’s heart. But Jett has been hurt in the past, his family, especially his father are determined to make his life miserable. Now that Jett and Goldie are getting closer to each other the dangers in Jetts life start targeting Goldie and he has to make a big decision and choose between two things that he wants the most.

Lo aka Goldie is a bundle of spunk with a seriously fowl mouth. I adored her, she doesn’t hold anything back and always says what she means emotionally. She cares so much for her friends the Jett Girls, Kace whom she constantly has some heated moments with and of course Jett who makes her heart beat and breaks it at the same time. This was a tough chapter for Goldie, she has to fight to peel back Jett’s layers and hope that she can eventually protect him.

Jett is quite a mess this time around. He is naturally a strong and dominate man who wants to help people, especially his Jett girls. But when it comes to Goldie he is put in a tight situation between hurting her and fighting against his father. He thinks that Goldie is a sign from his mother, that maybe she is the one woman to make him love again. I’m so rooting for something to go right for this guy, he makes so many mistakes but its all with good intensions.

Overall I read both book 1 and 2 in one day; seriously this series has me hooked. It is hotter then hell, the romance and passion is smoking hot that it made me blush reading any scene that was steamy. I adored all the secondary characters, Kace who has a special place in my heart with his bad boy, always-angry charm, Pepper, Tootse, and Babs who make me laugh with how sweet and supportive they are of Goldie. Its an awesome support system for two leads who need all the back they can get in their chaotic lives. I cant wait to see what happens next because that ending, I know Goldie is going to be putting herself in on sticky situation.
