 I loved this book, it will stick with me for a long time. My coworker, the author gifted me this book, and I am so proud to know him and be able to read his writing. 

This book showed me more insights into Jon, with his love of the outdoors, his love of photography, and his thoughts on technology. 

I love hearing stories from people’s lives. Especially when it is very close to their hearts, the stories from childhood to his time in Yellowstone are something that most can connect with. The stories surround friendship, freedom, and dirt. 

I connected a lot with the stories through my own story of “freedom” through my internship in Hawaii. 

I loved the voice throughout the story, it felt like listening to someone share their life, which is exactly how I like biographies/memoirs. 

The photographs throughout the book were beautiful and allowed me to picture a place I have not had the privilege to visit yet. 

I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy stories about Yellowstone the outdoors or enjoy peeks into people’s lives.
