Didn't realize it was a choose your own adventure

To be honest, the emotion I would like to check here is "annoying".
Usually I love Decide Your Destiny stories, especially the ones where you don't need character sheets and dice, but just can choose what will happen by which page you go to.
But here it's all one big arch, and that really defies the idea behind Decide Your Destiny, where you have several different stories in the end with satisfying closure in more than one story.
On top comes that the digital version lacks options to directly go to the page for one's decision (and go back to the last decision). I know it's possible to program an ebook this way because I've done it myself. Here instead one has to actually click one's way through half of the book a lot. Not does that come with spoilers, it's also frustrating.
(And the storyline is a bit over the top, even for Lower Decks, but that bit probably is a matter of taste.)
I hope Trek will one day make more Decide Your Destiny stories (preferably novel and not graphic novel, but I like both), but then with an actual multitude of adventures to have.

This is great for fans of Lower Decks who love a challenge. I’m also a big fan of Ryan North so it’s a win-win!
