Was hoping it would add more than the series, but it is just basically a retelling. It did add to the Queen's Man/King's Man relationship by suggesting the king and queen were aware of that relationship and kept their secret for them, which wasn't really shown on the netflix show.

If you enjoyed the show, you’ll like this. It doesn’t stray too far from the show at all (much of the dialogue is basically what you’ll find in the script), but it does give a closer window into the minds of the characters, which I very much enjoyed. A very fun read!
