I almost wish this book had ONLY focused on Charlotte & George. I love Brimsley and Lady Danbury, but tbh I would have gladly switched their chapters to some scenes between Charlotte & George that we didn't see in the show!

Her pussy so powerful she thought it could cure mental illness… she was wrong but love the enthusiasm.

I love representation don’t get me wrong but feels odd to add black and POC characters randomly into the book canon when all those mfs were white for 8 books

Beautiful read

Even more heartbreaking than the show! I loved reading the thoughts behind the dialogue. A must read for the Bridgerton fan!

Courage. That is the world I would use to describe this plot, these characters, and the overall theme. These characters have courage to stand on their own, chart their own path, and make difficult changes in both themselves and the world around them.
I thought this story was beautifully done when I saw the TV series, but now after reading the book, I have a new appreciation. I love that this book followed the show scene by scene, but it was written, so there is so much more detail to take in. You can hear the characters thoughts while reading a book, it is told solely through their eyes, no one else's.
I will forever support Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes and these books. They are beautiful stories.
But I will warn for those who do not enjoy it, there is a lot of spice. They are romances afterall.
I hope this review helps. Happy Reading and Blessed Be.

I watched the show when it came out last year and this books been on my shelf since then and I’ve been putting it off but I’m a little glad I did because it brought me right back to this amazing story. I think I prefer the Queen Charlotte show to Bridgerton show, the story is amazing and the romance is amazing and it shows their true love by fighting with a big problem that affects their lives that is unchangeable and it shows the struggle with racism and homophobia so really it encapsulates everything and this story is a 5 star and so’s the show but I don’t think the book itself is but maybe
