Knocked off a quarter star because the
thruple
part of the ending was just not it. Otherwise, the ending made me cry copiously which is always a good sign.

This finale was everything I wanted and everything I didn’t know I wanted or needed. But Kresley clearly knew best.

I don’t want to say too much at the risk of giving away spoilers before the book comes out. So I’m just going to be insanely sentimental.

This book was worth the wait. Absolutely worth it. The characters you’ve come to know and love… Evie, Aric, Jack and crew… are all here in their full Arcana force and glory. And if you’ve been following the story, there are new faces to meet and love too. There is action, there is adventure, and there is love and trust and gorgeous friendship. New secrets are revealed and just when you think it’s all over, even MORE secrets are revealed. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be angry. But all will be answered in time.

If you STILL haven’t started this series, do it. Do it now. This series will be finished in a matter of days. It’s a YA dystopian tale like you’ve never read before. And it will ensnare you in Evie’s vines.

Honestly, there are no words that I could say that would give you an idea about how good and great this book is. Just know that you will cry. It is an amazing ending that you won't see coming.

Did not like how Jack got most of the end of her life and then when they finally reincarnated she was able to choose him again. Was always team Death and it was his turn for their love story to finally play out!!!!

This book was an absolute journey to read! broke me down into the smallest pieces and put me back together in the best way possible. I laughed and man did I cry. Everything for a reason and a purpose, though. What an amazing end to one of my favorite series! Hail Queen Kresley! Who inspired the kind of trust and loyalty that has many fans completely rabid for this story!

OH. MY. GOD!
What even was this?!?!
This final instalment was EVERYTHING!!!
I honestly and literally could not put it down.

I think it has been six years from the last book to the release of this final one, but it was SO worth the wait!!
I aggressively wiped my tears, so I could blurrily read on, I gasped, I was angry, I was humbled...I went through pretty much every emotion with this book.
Comparing this to the first book of the series, it's incredible how the story and characters matured and what Kresley Cole pulled out of the hat here.

Just wow!

As always I was not disappointed. Tho the ending didn’t go the way I thought or would have hoped, I still loved every moment of this book. And it is in the top 5 favorite series for me. If you haven’t read this series yet, I suggest you go get Poisoned Princess and get started. It’s amazing. Death is hot!!! The final book made me cry and laugh out loud. Thank you for an amazing series Kresley.
