Precioso.

i think it’s very beautiful that shakespeare found a way to immortalise their dead son in the only way he knew possible, which has lived on to be one of the most famous plays ever written, therefore keeping the memory of his son alive! stunning prose too

3.5 -- started off really not liking this book (nearly dnf-ed it) but I pushed thru and the second half became the major redeeming factor.

i really liked how descriptive this book was, i could imagine every little thing (but that also worked against it at times)
i found it really moving but also slightly repetitive. i like that she wrote this book just based off her own wonderings about Shakespeare and his son and Hamlet (which i really enjoyed in high school, tyvm)
i also liked that shakespeare was not the main character lol
solid read, probably not for everyone 3.75 upon finishing ILL BE BACK TO UPDATE IN 6 MONTHS MAYBE
