C. J. Tudor is slowly becoming my favourite thriller author !
Even if I didn't enjoy The Drift as much as I enjoyed The Gathering, it was a very intriguing and well paced thriller.
I love how C. J. includes some elements of horror in the story, here a virus that transforms people into some sort of zombies but also how human her stories are.
I really liked the different timelines and how they connected within the story, even if the link was a bit obvious for me.
The ending is really good !
I will continue to read Tudor's books and I am really excited for her next novel !

c j tudor is very quickly becoming one of my favourite authors
The first 3/4 were more 4 star but the ending kind of fell apart for me. I enjoyed the 3 different story lines almost equally which is unusual. Reading this book in the winter definitely added to the experience. Having basically the same reveal multiple times really lost me.

Hello??? I’ve never eaten up a thriller like this before, I read most of it in one sitting and would’ve finished if I hadn’t had to wake up early for a school.
It has everything I love in a thriller:
- isolated setting
- high stakes
- multi POV
The plot twist was revealed to you slowly throughout but it still had me gagged tf out. Also if you don’t like pandemic books, you may not enjoy this because it’s a pretty important element but I LOVED it
