I couldn't put this book down at all. It's a locked-room mystery, it's a thriller, it's dystopian horror. So many different elements and they're woven together in a thrilling story.
There's three POVs:
Hannah, daughter of a famous virologist, who is stuck inside a crashed coach with other students.
Meg, volunteer for a medical research project, who's stuck with others in a cable car on a mountain.
Carter, who lives at a retreat where they work on vaccines for a deadly virus.
All three of them are stuck in a snowstorm and dealing with the threat of a deadly virus that could infect them and the people who have survived the virus and turned into something more terrifying and dangerous.
The three POVs work pretty well, in my opinion, and it's not too hard to keep track of who is who. The storylines eventually weave together perfectly and I guessed some of the reveals beforehand while others surprised me. My only complaint is that the ending seemed a bit unfinished and unsatisfying after the huge build-up and character motivation behind some of their actions.
(Also pet peeve: but if you include a different language make sure you're actually using it correctly. The partially incorrect German really annoyed me.)

Did not know this was apocalyptic going into this but C.J. Tudor never disappoints!

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat! We meet three main characters, who are all facing life and death situations. Hannah, a med student who wakes up in a bus that has crashed; Meg, a mother who lost her child, is stranded in a cable car high above a snowy range; and Carter, who lives at The Retreat, a place that makes vaccines. Without the vaccine, infected people become “Whistlers”, a zombie-type existence. This was a great, apocalyptic, dystopian type of thiller

I really enjoyed this book, it moved along at a quick pace and kept me reading the book to see what happened in each of the various plots. The characters are good and bad but I felt it gave an honest view of how people would turn out in the various situations. Well worthy of a read

There are 3 groups trapped in a snowstorm heading to a retreat in the mountains. Hannah's group has just been a bus crash and they need to figure out how to get out and make their way up the mountain. Meg's group is stuck on a gondola that has stopped. Carter is at the retreat with some other people. As the story progresses you figure out that they are living in a dystopian future that has some sort of pandemic and they are all interconnected to a point. Hard to give more info with spoilers but overall a good story.
