داستان پيامبرى كه در هنگام ترك شهرى كه مدت هاست ساكنش بوده و با مردم آن شهر رابطه خوبى دارد ، به سوالات آن ها در مورد مسائلى مانند عشق ، مرگ ، روزمره ، كار ، خانواده و ... صحبت ميكند.
لحن شاعرانه كتاب و تشبيهات خوبى كه استفاده كرده ، در مجموع اين كتاب رو دلنشين ميكنه براى خواننده.
