Cute romcom with spice. Has really no plot other then to set up spices. Characters felt 2D but still finished it and enjoyed the brain rot of the fun of it.
the fact that every single Random Hockey Teammate got a Full Legal Name and Backstory was certainly a choice

Very easy read but it was just rubbish? Such a dull and predictable plot, the relationships were built up hastily and overall, it was just a bit cringe. The ending was so underwhelming.

I was not expecting this book to be this... smutty. Like sure, a scene or two? No problem. Triple, or quadruple that?...
That being said, it was a nice, no high-stakes story, and the plot twist at the end was kind of expected, but it still reinforced that that one character was just an awful human being. And the two year timeskip? Honestly, I don't know how to feel about it. Not really a fan, but hey, it's a happy ending at least!

Icebreaker by Hannah Grace is the first book in the Maple Hills series. I really enjoyed this book. The plot was fun and I really liked the characters. Anastasia did make some decisions that pissed me off but overall she was a great character and had some great character development. This is a college hockey romance. I thought the audiobook was well done. This was a fun listen!
Anastasia was strong and determined. I loved how she never gave up on her dream. Watching her get through her personal issues and become a stronger person was inspiring. Nathan was everything! He was an amazing book boyfriend! He was patient and supportive. Anastasia and Nathan had great chemistry and I loved their relationship. The plot was interesting. I was never bored. I love the hockey boys! I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. I have to shout out Henry! That man has my heart and can’t wait for his book!!! I recommend this book if you want a cute, spicy, hockey college romance.
