SPOILERS AHEAD

This book was definitely good but not nearly as good as it's hyped up to be on TikTok and other social media. It isn't misleading though which I really appreciate, nothing worse than picking up a book because of its trope just to find out it's a twisted version of it. This book has a lot of smut, a very good chunk of the book is taken place in Nate's (MMC) bed lmao. The romance doesn't really happen until more than halfway through the book. A lot of their relationship in the beginning is just their sexual relationship, but there's lots of flirty banter and things that would def make you have a physical reaction.

I did really like this book, only thing was that it was too hyped up and didn't fulfill all of what I was expecting. But I'm excited for more of her books <3

was it better than i expected? yes
was it enjoyable? mostly yes
could it have been shorter? definitely yes
the inner monologues got repetitive and shawty was tooooo long

Really enjoyed the beginning half of this book. The banter and story had me reading chapter after chapter, I couldn't put it down. I personally enjoyed the second half of the book as well. It did slow down significantly in the pace and banter and I could see how it might cause someone to lose interest eventually. Not a super big fan of the ending though unfortunately.

This book was really cute. Enjoyed the storyline, the characters, all the hockey boys and friendships. Spicy

Yeah. Big nope from me. I just couldn’t get into it and life is too short to read a book you hate. Full disclosure I never even finished it. I have no desire to find out the ending.

DID NOT FINISH

I DNF'd this at 22%. Anastasia is an ice skater. Nate is a hockey player. They end up having to share the rink because of an accident that ruined one of the rinks. They hook up but it's weird because she has a friends-with-benefits guy and Nate is a total player, which is annoying (both). I DNF'd it because of that plus the main characters are kind of annoyingly immature. I know it's supposed to be super popular but UGH. I just couldn't.
