Oh man, this one is unnecessary long, boring and 50 shades of grey-ish but in a college. Phenomenal my ass. I shouldn't trust anything with TikTok sensational label. The only reason I give 2 stars is because Anastasia is a determine character and the cover is cute. Nathan is cute too but he gives me "christian grey but college-ish vibes"

Have you ever picked up a book in the past but just not gotten into it so you put it down to come back another day. That is 100% what happened to me with this book. I first started Icebreaker when it first came out however with the joys of being a mood reader I just couldn’t get into it. I can honestly say I can’t believe I waited so long to pick this back up. Anastasia has a dream to become an Olympic gold medalist figure skater and nothing is going to stand in her way including the hot captain of the hockey team that she is now forced to share a rink with. This book has some of my favorite tropes he falls first, found family, forced proximity, communication, and so many more. It’s really hard to pinpoint what all I loved about this book but some of the things are the strong will of the FMC the golden retriever MMC or their amazing friend group. I was a little sad when it ended and I can’t wait to read more by this author

This book was cute, could it have been like a hundred pages less? Yes, but considering how much plot needed to be wrapped up I can understand. On that note, I never want to read a book again with a character as slimy and disgusting as Aaron Carlisle, I hated his character from the start of the book and never once did my hatred for him let up. Anyone would be lucky to have a boyfriend like Nathan Hawkins!

I didn’t want to Like this book so much. 

But in a room of beluga caviar… this was a welcome greasy cheeseburger. 

It was cheesy and super smutty. 
But it was cute… I don’t care how much I enjoyed it. 

It’s no literary masterpiece by any means. But I had fun with it.

en dehors de ça j’ai vraiment adoré la romance
certes, pas mal de smut
mais la relation entre Nate et Anatastasia vraiment fan >>>
Nate est un green flag ambulant, et tout son groupe d’amis, ce qui fait une belle found family

attention TW alimentation, misogynie, etc…

et dire qu’au début je pensais que le love interest était Aaron
