I loved this, the perfect “Hallmark” type book. I absolutely love the way the author gave the dogs in the book personality. Not my normal genre but it made me want to read more of her books! ~ Read it

Slow burn, feel good romance. There was drama, but it was the right amount. I love the relationship between the sisters. And the dogs were so cute.

Don’t know why this book took me so long, but it was absolutely adorable!!!
This was kind of like a Hallmark movie mixed with what an AI feels relationships are like? I kept wondering if it was ghostwritten and never looked at again
The vibes are very much Hallmark movie meets Gilmore Girls. It had a bit more depth than an average Christmas love story, but still has all the love tropes you’d expect with a nice and clean happy ending
If you are looking for a light, cozy, Christmas romance that could translate to a Lifetime or Hallmark movie, then you’ve found one! The beginning was so sappy that I thought it was overpowering and a bit ridiculous. But, then I just let myself settle into the story and it grew on me. I still think it’s a bit too much in the sweetness factor but I liked it. It was also a little long because of too much repetition in storyline and the constant overthinking by the characters which really put this story at a snail’s pace in plot development. It probably could have been reduced to about 250 pages and had the same overall effect. What I did like a lot were the characters. Belle (the protagonist’s Great Dane) kind of steals the show, so-to-speak. The Somerville sisters and their mom had great relationships. And as described, the male characters are “swoon-worthy.”
