My favourite of Amanda's books so far. You can tell this collection was so hard for her to write and although her other poetry is very personal, some of these poems just felt so *extra*. I honestly gasped from time to time while reading as I connected with the work so much. I'm very inspired to start writing again after being on hiatus for a while. A blessing to read, honestly.

Like all the best poetry, it made me cry and contemplate my life.

An incredible work. I will always sing the praises of the talented Amanda Lovelace. I love that she includes works from other collaborators in this collection. All beautiful works.

Lovelace is my favorite poet, hands down. So much of what she writes I can relate to, even though I'm sure we've had very different life experiences. I do wish that I had read the books in order, but since they don't have a particular narrative format, it's kinda whatever. I love her encouragement of finding your own voice, and some of the poems I wish I could get tattooed on my heart. I hope I get to read [b:The Witch Doesn't Burn in This One|35924698|The Witch Doesn't Burn in This One (Women Are Some Kind of Magic, #2)|Amanda Lovelace|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1502335293l/35924698._SX50_.jpg|55649562] sooner rather than later!
