I am very glad to inform you all, that this is one hell of a poetry trilogy! And, in addition, I need to tell you how lovely The Mermaid ('s voice returns in this one) was! Although none of the volumes are "happy" this one left a sweet taste in my mouth. It was inspiring, sad, sweet, and beautiful.
The extra addition of other poet's voices was a good idea, in my opinion. It makes sense, it adds to the series.
This series is a great way to get into poetry.
Loved it, and highly recommend it!

“when i tell you i’m still waiting for my hogwarts letter, what i mean to say is i never meant to be here for so long.
- forever wandering lost & wandless.”
Surprisingly I found myself enjoying some of the poems (mostly the prose ones) and though I thought bringing different authors to contribute into this collection was great, their poems didn’t mesh well with Amanda’s.
But let’s be real here, the only reason I read this was because I’m kind of a completionist. I still hate modern poetry, but this was ok I guess.

Amanda Lovelace is a (princess-witch-mermaid-fairy) granddaughter of [a:Francesca Lia Block|9072|Francesca Lia Block|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1530045619p2/9072.jpg] and here's why.
This is the last book of poems in a series dedicated for all of us who have ever been hurt and fought back and now seek to find ourselves again. Read this at any stage of your life (I particularly wish I had this series during my high school years). Read this in the morning, noon, and night (I read a few pages throughout the day).
Read this and feel the love, feel the rage, feel the peace of reclaiming your voice and life.
