An enjoyable read. Nothing amazing, but he paints a decent picture of his setting. At times it got a bit melodramatic, but then so did Columbo, and Kosuke Kindaichi is basically Japanese Columbo by the author's own admission, so I can't really call that a fault.
This one is quite good, I enjoyed the tense atmosphere and brooding and disturbing island, but it did drag on a bit and I am not sure it is quite good as the others. Having said that it is still a brilliant and gripping murder mystery and one that leaves you guessing right up till the end.

Another good Kindaichi mystery! A bit of a play on "And Then There Were None," but itln it's own way. A bit predictable, but two twists I did not see coming!
