I enjoyed this book. The basic idea is original (well, somewhat), it combines two genera (sci-fi and detectives) in a clever way and is a definite page-turner. I saw that another reviewer complained that the book has a feminist slant, which peaked my interest. However, that seems to come down to that the protagonist is a woman, so (disappointingly) nothing too radical there.
