One thing i can say for certain is that i was hooked. Mr. Cruel prince is deceptive and cunning but he could get it. This series is great if you love reluctant allies, slow burn, he falls first kind of romances. Esp if you love a “she’s mine… touch her and die” kind of vibe

This has been a year of sub par books, but OMGGGG finally a phenomenal book! The language is *chef’s kiss* the slow burn is perfect. The pacing, the plot. The growling and nicknames and intrigue! Ahh love love love! Can’t wait for the next book!
DNF at 67%. I just couldn’t do it anymore-no more ‘huge hands’ or ‘big’ (thesaurus, anyone?), unbelievable relationship between Lorian and Prisca, story dragged. Writing ok, didn’t grab me.

Wow, this book was REALLY REALLY GOOD. Like holy, the plot was so good, the twists were amazing. My favorite part had to be the beginning/end of the book, it was so engaging and had the best vibes. Prisca and Lorain are for sure something. And I loved that Lorain almost always knew what Prisca was thinking. The reason this book is not a 5 stars is because I did stop reading this book. But when I started again, I was automatically engaged again. Love love love. Can’t wait to read more of the Kingdom of lies series.

Boring characters, no character or proper story development, and slow they plan this “super secret and dangerous” plan, then the FL goes and tells everyone she now’s without a fear of betrayal😒 how is the stakes are high if you can blabber the super secret to every single person… FL and ML keep bickering and talking almost hateful to each other one minute but then they’re so in love and attracted the next😒 at least show us why they are attracted or love each other… no substance
