I didn’t “DNF” but I was temped too. The writing is more tell than show and rather immaturish for my tastes. Sadly, I won’t be finishing the series.

I was pulled into the story from the start and was excited for where it was going until about the middle on. I liked the way the mmc and fmc were at the beginning with the back and forth but the more he's in it the more I'm like okay he's very manipulative and annoying. idk. I don't really know what's supposed to happen in the story but I'm kind of tired of the whole fmc is tucked away from everything and she doesn't know she's soooooo powerful and oh she's royalty too! like pls give me a different story than this

Great book, kept me wanting more. I gave it 4 stars because I thought it was missing quite a bit. It felt rushed and like lots of details were missing. Still a great read, and I can't wait to start the second book.
