dreams of a green eyed man.
Surprise! She had magic-time magic. Uses it to save a bitchy village girl, she narks. The guards come for her and her mom pushes her off a cliff to...escape. Saved by mercenaries...they ditch her, she tries to steal their stuff, yada yada she had time magic so shes useful and they strike a deal. She has to help them get to the castle, they help her get on a ship...Oop, then she has to save her friend from the village that was taken there and needs to get to the castl too.

Funny, spicy, adventurous, and magical! - everything I love in a romantasy. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because the fmc says time and time again she dreamt of the mmc all the time before even meeting him - BUT she never said WHAT ABOUT. I guess it’ll be said in book 2? But come on. Idk. It bothered me the whole book

I enjoyed this so far. I'm worried it might get a little bogged down in the next few books. The extremely long romantasy book series can get a little cumbersome. The FMC is a nicely balanced practical yet soft hearted character. So far she is balancing her Savior complex with her need for revenge. And of course the brooding MMC is all that and a cup of morally gray. The world building is simple yet intriquing with opportunities for more in depth info. TBH I'm just here for a good time, an engaging story and being entertained. Anything too deep and my overloaded brain says no thanks.
