Very enjoyable and quick read. The characters, including secondary & minor characters, were well-developed. Good plot, gripping from the beginning and progresses quickly. Immediately starting the next book in the series. 
Review below hints at a possible spoiler but doesn’t list details. 
I was able to predict one plot twist from the very first time the author introduced a character. Maybe she intended it that way, with very strong foreshadowing. 
But that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book.
Other characters had moments that were not expected, which was fun for storyline progression

Chemistry felt somewhat forced between main characters. I felt like I kept rereading the same part over and over the second half of the book, and the pacing seemed a bit weird throughout the book
