Lovely! What a fun and creative book and extremely strong design elements.

Anyone else totally feeling those winter blues? I think the season combined with the strict lockdown has been building up on me. I bought this cute little book from @indigo and it brightened my day.

Fika: The Swedish concept of a ritual coffee break.

This colour is super aesthetically pleasing to me and the contents even more so. Fika is all about taking the time to have a little coffee/tea/whatever you fancy break during the day. It’s about savouring the moment of pouring the hot water into your mug and slicing a piece of cake for yourself.

I took a note from the Swedish and made a cinnamon cake to go with my tea. It felt nice to step away from my work screen for a moment. When I returned I felt refreshed and more productive.

The United States could learn a thing or two from Sweden. Fika should be one of those things. Great little book. Makes you smile.

Short & concise book about one of the cultural aspect of Swedish people. Included in the book are recipes for drinks & pastries that suitable for Fika (me: definitely going to try the cinnamon roll!).

A short read explaining the tradition of Swedish coffee breaks and a handful of recipes to go along with your fika. Everyone should take time out of their day to enjoy a coffee break with friends.

I don't think this was marketed well. This is a pretty coffee-table recipe book but not a book with depth, similar to those on Hygge, on culture or living a good life.

More quotations than recipes--not my style.

A wonderful introduction to this concept! As a vegan, I would have liked some description of how to vegan-ise these recipes, but I can always do that on my own.

An easy read for a solitary coffee or tea break.
