I simply loved this collection. Chesya Burke's writing is just as powerful and dynamic as Toni Morrison's or Maya Angelou in my opinion. I really enjoyed "Purse", "CUE: Change", and "The Teachings and Redemption of Ms. Fannie Lou Mason" the most, but ALL of the stories were a delight to read. I will be on the lookout for more collections from her- maybe there's a novel/novella out there? π€πΎπ€πΎ
