This is the 2nd book in the trilogy. This story takes place the summer after the first book. They brought back the first group of students and added another student and animal.

This is a 3.5 book. I loved it and it was hilarious, but it's not the best. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of this series. There's a new girl at the school of fear and she's more than a little clingy. Lol, those types get on my nerves. I feel more than a little bad for some of the characters. After all, some of their worst fears were coming true. Anyway, an okay series, a nice plot, could've been better. Happy reading.

The middle book in the School of Fear series. Worst covers ever for these books!

The ending was a cliff hanger???!!! It was a little disappointing to me. But overall it was indeed quite entertaining and funny. Theo and Lulu's arguing never stops to makes me laugh from her comments and his drama things. I liked how Maddeleine and Garrison finally had some relationship development. I'm hoping more for the next book.

A fun addition to the series, very captivating and intriguing. Rereading this years later I am still entertained for quite a bit of time and the language isn’t patronising as I have found many middle grade books to be. Love the original four, and the addition of Hyhy is sure to make things interesting! The characters are still all so uniquely distinct and fun and the concept of this book is super funny and unique. The plot is a great for the intended audience as well.

Edit: been thinking about this book for a while and there are a lot of fatphobic remarks/jokes made by Theo and the other students towards Theo, I am aware that this book was published in a time when there wasn’t as much attention surrounding this issue, but it may not be pleasant to read.
