 Showstopping, phenomenal, sapphic swordswomen. Each story didn't hit, but that's pretty typical in an anthology. A few definitely were so confusing I reread and reread BUT that doesn't stop this from being a banger of an anthology. Beautiful art and beautiful stories! (less) [edit]

full transparency, i was sent a copy of this book by the editor. thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read it!

this was a very fun read for me! the only reason it doesn't hit the five star mark is because the stories are all so charming & interesting - but seem unfinished in this stort story setting. i want all of these as their own full books ! stunning artwork & witty dialogue. queer characters woven in & out of tales with a natural cadance. bipoc rep. all in all a brilliant display of diversity. i loved it. i loved it so much.
