Catherine strung together a very intriguing mystery with ATMP. I was hooked from the prologue, as I typically am with her writing. The mystery and suspense was phenomenal, and I was between multiple suspects up until the final few chapters before the big reveal. She kept me on my toes entirely for this one! Overall, I enjoyed the mystery and suspense aspect of the story, more so than the romance.
I found it difficult to connect and become invested in Ridley and Colts relationship, they both fell flat for me. I was not invested in their love story and rather than a slow burn, it felt rushed in the second half of the story.
I adored Andi Arndt’s narration of Ridley- she did a wonderful job portraying the emotions Ridley felt throughout the story.
Sebastian York’s narration of Colt was well done, but I was not as invested in Colt’s character as a whole.
Thank you so much to Catherine Cowles, Casablanca Books, and Netgalley for allowing me the opportunity to receive an ARC! I purchased and listened to the ATMP after release day on Audible.

All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is a romantic suspense novel that follows a fictional true crime podcaster. I absolutely love this book.

I’m obsessed with this story. I love Ridley. And Colt. His nickname for her, Chaos. The tension and attraction between them. Their brokenness. The mystery and suspense and intrigue of the story. The tragicness of their sisters’ stories. Her VW bus. The setting in the small mountain town on a lake. The edge of danger coming into play throughout the book. The witty banter. I love all of the pets. I laughed and I cried.

I absolutely recommend this book and I can already tell this will be one of my favorites for the year (and yes, I know we’re only two weeks into the year).

“Be safe, Chaos. It's going to piss me the hell off if you end up dead.”

"Do I look like an idiot?"
"Chaos, you look like a lot of things, but an idiot isn't one of them."

Well Catherine, you masterful genius, you did it again! I feel like I constantly say that about her books, but honestly I've loved them all.

Let's just start off by saying, I did NOT figure out the suspect this time. And boy, was it a doozy! I feel like its a game for me everytime I pick up one of her books. Will I figure it out, or won't I? This time it was a NOPE... so now I'm at a 50% success rate with her books 🤣.

This story, these characters, they pulled me in from page one! It was such a gripping story and I just had to know who did it, and how it ended. Ridley was such a spunky, strong, smart, bold, independent woman. She was definitely my favorite kind of fmc, with all the witty, sarcastic, fun banter to back her up. Colt, well, where can you go wrong with a grumpy sheriff? YOU CAN'T! He was all gruff protectedness, and I was here for it! The two of them complemented each other perfectly, connecting on their similarites and supporting each others differences. I absolutely loved how Colt undersood he couldn't cage Ridley, but chose to help and support her even when he thought it was dangerous. Uh, just loved them.

I sure hope there is a book two because there is another set of characters that I'd love to get a story for.
