Omg I loved this book so much! I have to admit I was hesitant for a while about reading it but it was fast paced and the plot flowed really well!

June Hur has a writing style that absolutely grips me despite writing in one of the genres that I am the least comfortable with, historical fiction. I love the way the mystery is crafted and unfolds. This is a worthy sophomore novel and I can not wait for the next work that comes out by her.

I received an ecopy of this through Netgalley; however, all opinions are my own.

An enjoyable historical mystery with a very interesting setting!

I usually don't like historical fiction, but mixed with a mystery element I liked this quite a lot. I really like the main characters and how envolved in solving the mystery they got. I loved the exploratio  of the sisters relationship and seeing them come together again. It was also really interesting to learn about the culture and time period alongside the mystery.

The mystery itself was also interesting while being slightly predictable, but I was still shocked by some twists!
