I think it was really enjoyable! I loved the fairytale aspect in JK Rowling fashion, it had serious depth to it! One moment, you are so happy and are on top of the world... then you fall in a volcano! What I am trying to say is... you can’t suspect much. The villains are super intriguing since the one of the main themes is lies always come back to get you, and that was cool to see play out.

When there was a chapter up for free every week, I couldn't get into it as it is a bit slow paced. But my sister has the book so I borrowed it and read it in one go and loved it. And yes, people are the real monsters. I stand by this.

You can tell the story was written for children, and it would be a cute bedtime story. Nothing too horrible that it would give someone nightmares, but entertaining enough to keep your attention!
