Double Down was an incredibly well crafted story. There were ups and downs and crazy turns that kept me turning pages because I just HAD to find out what was going to happen. The suspense was wild, but this book was also full of swoon worthy friendships. The type where you dive first into helping the person you love and think about the consequences later.
OMG!! Double Down is the second book in the All In Duet by Alessandra Torre. This book had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! A well written conclusion to a wonderful story.
Double Down takes up right where Even Money ended. The stakes are much higher in this one as danger continues to lurk.
I loved the way the story unfolded and the fact that it was told from multiple points of view. Those point of views helped to take the tension and suspense to another level making the story that much more engaging.
I enjoyed the conclusion to Dario and Bell's story, it was a fitting end. I definitely recommend this duet and hope that a certain side character has his story told.

Perfect conclusion for this duet. I loved every second of it. I wanted to keep reading, but I didn't want it to end. This book has suspense, love, lust, action, and it was just hold you by the throat and don't let go amazing. This author really knows how to write a spell binding book.
I am always a little afraid of being disappointed when it comes to sequels, especially when I enjoyed the first book so much. I worry it isn't going to live up to its predecessor, or the author is going to take the characters in a direction I don't like. So I was a bit nervous going into this book. I needn't have been though because I enjoyed book two just as much as I enjoyed the first.The writing remained outstanding. It was well paced (for the most part). There was a small bit around three-quarters of the way through when the plot did start to lag a bit for me, and I felt the author could have tightened up the story a bit. But it wasn't a bit enough issue for it to affect my rating in any way. The plot remained engaging. There was no OW or OM drama. The sex scenes were suitably spicy.
This book was a bit lighter on secondary characters than the first. We get a couple of brief appearances by Rick and Lance. I was a smidgen bummed by that, and I hope we see them again in books of their own. We are also introduced to a new character...Laurent. I was super intrigued by him, and yea...he needs a book of this own as well.
Both Bell and Dario continued to be very likable main characters. Their chemistry remained off the charts. As did their devotion towards each other. Last, this was all wrapped up in a sweet HAPPY FOR NOW. I will say, I expected closure on all fronts, this being a duet and all. But we are left with a pretty sizeable loose end. Because of that, I can only assume more books may be coming?? In any case, again it wasn't a huge enough issue to affect my rating. Plus, more Bell, Dario, and their friends can only be a good thing in my opinion.

This cover was pretty artsy, and love the title innuendos. Again though, the author is what drew me and part one was amazing folks. This book in my opinion was pretty great despite such a harrowing cliff hanger in part one. I was not prepared for the loose ends in this one though. New characters emerge and some slide into the unknown for now. The loose ends make it seem like they're will be a book three but it's hard to tell. The book was seriously engaging enough that I didn't want to put it down, as a series I'd definitely rate it four stars of entertainment. Thanks for a great read!

Twisty
I loved the storyline, the twists and suspense, and all the characters. I’d love to see books for secondary players Rick, Lance, and even Laurent. Sadly, even with the epilogue, I don’t quite feel like I have closure, however.
