Rating: 4/5 stars.

I REALLY enjoyed this series, and highly recommend if you want fun and relatively fluffy small town romance reads. The audio was particularly entertaining and I really enjoyed the narrator!

In Fix Her Up, a former baseball player enters into a fake dating scheme with his best friend’s little sister. I thought this one was a little silly in parts (Georgie is a literal party clown, like, professionally) but fake dating is my jam, I loved Travis, and I thought this was a great balance of spicy and sweet.

Once you get over your initial shock over the clown part, this turns into such a good read!! Idk if it's Tessa Bailey or the people who narrate her books but whenever I listen to one, I'm so hooked, it really becomes my nr. 1 priority.

This is brother's best friend at its finest especially because Travis quickly realizes how much cooler Georgie is than her brother 🤭

These two had the absolute cutest relationship and it was so hot at the same time 🥵 You should've seen my face during some of those lines haha

As another woman in her 20s who'll tell everyone how excited she is to have kids, I loved seeing that displayed in Georgie! So often we get kids in epilogues without the characters having exchanged one word about it but here it was an actual topic.

I couldn't really get on board with their girls club just yet because in the book they're constantly like "it's not just for hating men!!" but then they do do a lot of men hating there 😂 But we've got two more books about it so I'm hoping to love it more by the end!

Such a great series opener and looking forward to continuing <3

“I’m strongest when you’re around, but I’m going to get better at using that strength, even when you’re not standing beside me.”

This book was semi-exhausting, to be honest. It started out kind of annoying, given the fact that Georgie was "Travis this and Travis that" during the first few chapters. Throughout the middle though, I was kind of having fun reading them. I like the spicy scenes although Travis is more of a talker than Brendan (IHOS). When Brendan talks during sex, it was okay and kind of hot, but when it came to Travis, it was sometimes hot and sometimes concerning. But I love the guy and I'm kind of bothered by the end. All the fault was pushed on him when in fact, they were both to blame. Hello? Georgie was semi-manipulating Travis into being open to relationship? I just hate the way the ending came to be because it has to be the guy who needs to make the grand gesture that he's worth it.
Also the proposal at the end cringe the life out of me, I wanted to stop reading then and there but there were only a few more pages to go so I can't stop.

The only good thing that happened when I read this book was that I got out of my reading slump, so thank you for being fast-paced. Although it's a little sad knowing I bought the other two books that are in this series, I realized that I don't have to judge the whole series with the first one. Since based from experience, the first book of the series doesn't have to be the best one in the series. Hope the other two won't be that much of a let down.
