Emocionante y excitante desde la primera página a la última. Es muy sencillo leerlo y como constantemente cambia de un protagonista al otro, con capítulos ágiles y bastante cortitos, resulta una novela muy dinámica.
Quería leerme el libro antes de ver la primera temporada de la serie de TV y no sé si empezar el primer capítulo o el segundo libro!!!

As a huge fan of all of the seasons of GoT that are actually based off Martin's novels, HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AWESOME.
Listen to me, if you liked the shows and you like to read - READ THE BOOK. The book, somehow someway, is even better than the show. It's so cool to read the book after having already watched the show, because the characters have clear pictures in my head. It's also pretty remarkable how closely the creators of the show kept to the novel (the first season is based off the first book, so we'll see if that holds true for the rest of the series). Sometimes line-by-line, scene-by-scene. Seeing the way the creators of the show brought the scenery to life is remarkable. They really did that shit.
The book provides even more color to the situations throughout the series. There is more thought, more history, more nuance. I genuinely do not understand how one day, this concept just came to Martin, and bam, instant banger. Obviously it's incredible how any author of fiction can come up with the stories that they do, but COME ONNNN, how awesome is it that this idea appeared out of thin air. It's so unique and different from most all other fantasy. It's not a simple common fantasy trope. This is what's gonna be ripped off for generations to come. TAKE A BOW, GEORGE R.R. MARTIN!

Not much to say about this. The TV Show is great and unfortunately I watched it before reading the book. That made reading the book a tiring, very long thing. However, it was really close to the TV Show.
If you like Fantasy, I can recommend this book to you. Though it is kinda brutal at times. Heads roll like footballs nowadays.

Ah, A Game of Thrones!
Having never watched the series, and not knowing much about it at all other than dragons and that one starbuck cup, this book was the introduction to the series for me.
I seriously loved reading this book! I was afraid about the high fantasy and not being able to follow along with the names and places and plot but it was surprisingly easy to follow! (With the main cast anyway, some of the sers and such I got a bit lost with).
If you want something to get your teeth stuck into, this is your book. If you dont like big asshole characters, you won't 🙃
(p.s. I want to crawl into this universe, find Sansa, and sake the living daylights outta her!!!)

No esperaba que fuera a leer este libro por lo menos en un futuro cercano. El caso es que una amiga mia me dejó el libro asique me lo he leído. Y tampoco pense que tardaria tan poco tiempo en leerlo aunque ha sido un poco lento en algunas partes de la novela me ha gustado mas de lo que me esperaba. Sin duda mi personaje favorito es Arya, me parece un gran personaje y me encanta como sale de los esquemas de ser una princesa. Me da mucha pena que tengan que matar a Eddard Stark y a los lobos huargo. Me da mucha pena el peso que tiene que llevar Jon con ser bastardo. Tengo muchas ganas de empezar el segundo.
