Hated the ending. Wouldn’t recommend. Really diminishes the whole thing for me.

I loved the story of Anna and the way her 'invisibility' in the family was described. However, the end of the book really pissed me off. It felt rushed and underdeveloped and frankly, seemed like the author's easy way out of a difficult decision. The ending surely destroyed the whole book!

I can't even count how many times this book made me burst into tears. Utterly heart-wrenching. Jodi Picoult has that rare ability for writing prose that is at once beautifully poetic yet compulsively readable. Even funny at parts too! Every character was fleshed out with extraordinary depth, and my heart felt for every one of them. I was so gripped by this book.
