This short novella is the prequel to Guns vs Fangs which comes out next month and it was really good … I LOVE LOVE LOVE me a vampire / human romance

This was just too good for words! This is the prequel novella for the Guns vs Fangs Series. Blood Feud is the first full length novel in the series.
This was the perfect way to get us introduced to the main the upcoming series. In it you meet Ottavia, who is the daughter of the Don of the La Rosa Mafia and Eoin, who is the head of the vampires. They are rivals and tensions are high when a situation happens to cause even more problems between them.
I love that this gave you a background and storyline on what is to come in the first book. I cannot wait for it!

A short prequel to a new series that mix together a mafia, vampires and werewolves? Sign me up!
This is a short prequel that gives us a short intro into how the two sides, thd Irish vampires and the Mafia werewolves come to be. And how the current war is set.
We're focused on the eldest vamp, Eoin and the La Rosa's Don's daughter Ottavia. I think she's human. Doesn't say any different.
After one mistake ghouls are somehow let loose in the city and her brother, the next Don, is slaughtered. Being a girl Ottavia is shoved to her room "to rest and let the men sort it" despite her training and knowledge. Determined to enact revenge out on Eoin she slips out one night....
To Eoins fairness, he wasn't really told how bad this mishap was and told his crew to deal with it... Thinking it was just one or two.... And didn't know about the Don's son. He quickly punished guards for this, knowing the Mafia would be looking for retaliation..... He wasn't expecting the girl.
Ottavia believes she's slipping in anonymously to his club..... But not so. He leads her to believe that. And that she's just a regular donor.
What's worse, when he tastes her blood, for the first time in decades or centuries, his beast rises to the surface.
He orders her to leave. And she runs home.
But this is just the beginning.
Ottavia is Eions now. Its just a matter of how and when.....

So good!
Blood Lust was a great start to a new series by AJ Wolf and Salem Sinclair. There was action, paranormal, violence, and 1 mild steamy scene. It has captured my attention from the beginning and the ending definitely makes me want to read book 2 to find out what else happens between Ottavia and Eoin.
