Okay I have actively avoided this book since I heard about it. I thought, yes I like sapphic, yes I like comedy, but that books not for me….man was I wrong?! I couldn’t put this book down! It will def be a future comfort read of mine. Absolutely loved it!

it has taken me so so much longer to read this book simply because the love interest has my mothers name.
aside from that, was this the next literary great of our generation? no. but was it campy fun that had my heart melting for these two girls? absolutely. i will say, that aside from the gay thoughts, it was really difficult for me to relate to either of the mcs, and thats probably why i didnt enjoy the read as much as i couldve. (this could also be because it was def a millennial who wrote this trying to pretend they understood the thought process of people in gen z.)
all in all though, this wouldve gone #1 on my wattpad reads had it been uploaded there.

Cheesy, crazy, fun, slightly problematic. Basically everything I want from a queer YA book.
It’s a cute yet classic YA romance novel with good ups and downs.
This is the queer sports YA of my dreams. I have been waiting my entire life for this book and it is absolute perfection.
