She Drives Me Crazy was very mature and I absolutely loved the way characters dealt with situations. Instead of aimlessly reacting, they made conscious decisions and I was impressed. Kelly really did a solid with this novel. Highly recommend.
This is a delightful young adult rom-com. I always enjoy romance tropes. This has a couple, enemies to lovers and fake dating. Even though these are well-worn tropes, I loved how they were used. It still felt fresh to me. There are lots of good characters, from the main two to their friends and enemies. Were there corny parts? Yes, but that's what makes a fun YA rom-com. The cringy parts just make you laugh. I listened to the audiobook version, read by Piper Goodeve. She did a terrific job and it makes me want to listen to other books she's done.
So good! I want to reread it and I just finished it. Very well-written.
Fake dating to try to win back your ex is the cringiest of tropes.
Adorable enemies to lovers story of a basketball player & a cheerleader in love. A 1 sitting read for a rainy afternoon
“i’m sorry you were in so much pain.”
“i’m sorry you still are.”
“you’ll have nothing left of her, but you’ll have yourself.”

Maybe I'm finally getting over young adult fiction, but I thought this was a bit slow. I also couldn't get over the 16-18 year olds partying and taking pills like that. Meh.
