Read the newly revised Mime Order and thoroughly enjoyed. Shannon’s ability to create this crime syndicate London is truly amazing, I enjoyed it the first read and I can only say that her revision has deeply enriched the experience. Paige’s and Warden’s relationship eases into this new world, Shannon only gives us small glimpses into it and does not let us forget that this world is about Paige and the responsibility she feels. On to the next one!
Samatha Shannon could write anything and I’d lap it up.

possible spoilers for the bone season

after being completely obsessed with the bone season, my experience with the mime order could have gone either way. thankfully, i was even more obsessed with this second installment!

the plot picks up right where the first one left off and doesn't slow down for one minute. paige is an imperfect narrator - i definitely don't agree with all of her decisions - but at least she's keeping us entertained. i'm loving paige interacting with a larger cast of supporting characters - i think it's making her develop in ways that are vital!

i love the how samantha shannon is slowly developing the world, and introducing us to different factions and sectors. this series is turning out to be more political than i initially thought, but i'm not mad about it.

warden is perfect, as always. that's all that needs to be said about him

Better than the first book! More consistent, better pacing, and really drew me in to the story whereas the first book left me a little apathetic.

i’m in awe of Shannon’s world building every single day, it’s just insane how much thought she puts into everything g and how even the littlest of things connect to each other throughout the book. i’m so excited to read the next book, especially with that cliff hangar
