How do you love a second book in a series 10x more than the first when the first was already so good? 

 

This. 

 

By far better than the first—and the first was immense and enthralling. The complexities endure here and even grow more intensely political and intricate, if possible. 

 

The characters glow and flash and catch and reel. 

 

And so here I am, the last person sitting in the empty stands with my mouth hanging open as I stare into a now empty Rose Ring, still trying to process what just happened there… 

 

Wow. Let this one simmer for a bit, but not too long, I need to get my anxious hands on Book #3 asap…
