It's not bad it's just very short so I didn't really connect with the characters and it felt like the ending was rushed

Depression sucks. Sometimes it sucks so much you just want to die. Sometimes you have a terrible step-dad and a dad that literally did unalive himself. Sometimes you have an oblivious mom and a step sister that is always crying.

« Maybe it wasn’t anyone’s fault. Maybe people just like to blame others for someone’s death because it makes it easier to deal with when they can be mad at someone. Maybe the only thing to blame for suicide is depression. »

I’m in need of short stories these days to finish my reading challenge, so this book was what I was searching for. I think it’s a great way to aboard the subject, and even if it’s not what I was searching, I think it would have been better if it was longer. The writing style also felt middle school, which I liked less. Otherwise, the subject was great.
