I still like the 2nd in this series the best. While some moments fell short of that dramatic, romantic, over-the-top-ness I've come to love in this series, I liked reading Grace's story and point of view, the redemption of all the characters in one way or another, and a satisfying end to the series.

I didn’t expect this redemption arc to work out, but it did pretty well! This was recommended as a grovel novel and it was. Enjoyable fluff!

Fun, but
Spoiler McLean kind of did a speedrun between enemies and lovers that seemed to skip a step

I would have enjoyed this book so much more if it had been 100 pages shorter. The I love you, but no. Became tedious

Grace remains a fascinating character, Ewan remains mad and obsessive, and I remain enthralled by the soapy goodness that is Sarah MacLean's writing. I really do still think Ewan is beyond redemption, and he does not grovel enough, but in MacLean-land such things are easily surmounted with luscious writing. However, my least favorite of the series.
