I forgot I suggested this at the library and then it popped up on my Libby. Save yourself some time- he’s not responsible for his actions cause he had sads and a bad dad. She doesn’t really care he tried to murder her brothers. Her brothers wife. Uh and did kill 5 boys... cause he had sads and a bad dad.
The heroine is edgy because she wears pants and is a madam. Tbh it wasn’t even a fun read

So much promise but ultimately a let down. All the issues seemed to just get brushed off and not really addressed and I honestly just don't really get the romance? My favorite parts were getting to see the past characters.

I was a little hesitant about this book, as I could not see a good redemption for Ewan after falling in love with Devil and Whit and Grace. I should have known to have faith in Sarah MacLean always! This book is a great redemption/groveling story without compromising Grace's strength and independence. I could read a whole series about what goes on in her club, and all the characters who come through. This book delivered on everything I needed from Grace and Ewan's story.

I sometimes quite enjoy MacLean, but mercy heavens, this one had a lot of repetitive prose.
God I love this series! I think that’s the end... but I hope not! Give me some side characters!!!
Damn Sarah Maclean for making me care about Ewan. Though I still didn't love him at the end. I no longer loathed him. I still want a Nik and Nora book.
Really the best part of the this book were the scenes of Grace at her club and the whole Bareknuckle Bastard family together for dinner.
