"Do you have any books by Jane Eyre?
If that line wasn't funny enough for you to read this book then you have a strange sense of humor. Lol
This book summed up every weird and hilarious remarks of people who are not as well read as others. There's this customer who asked if Anne Frank wrote a sequel to her diary which received a huge amount of silence from the bookseller. Lol some remarks were rude and offensive but I salute those booksellers who handled those situations expertly.
I enjoyed this book, it was a short and funny read. I just loved every single bit of Jen Campbell's book. Definitely gonna read the sequel. There's not much to say so 3.5 out of 5 stars :)

Mildly amusing; a mixed bag of laugh-out-loud, plain weird, not-so-funny, cringe worthy and appalling moments. I cannot imagine how incredibly bizarre it must be to work in a bookshop in this day and age. The incredible things that people come up with in this book make you realise that it truly is a blessing to be part of Team Bookworm.
Definitely worth the read!

What an absolutely hilarious book!
My favourite parts where from Ripping Yarns - mostly the replies to the customers! People who work in bookshops definitely have a great sense of humour!
This little book is a sure fire hit for any reading fan. Although I use the Kindle now, I spent many years of my youth in book shops and I have heard some really hilarious questions so it's great to see a pile of them put together in a really great collection.
This is a quick read that I can see myself dipping into again and again!

This is more like a coffee table kind of book. A collection of funny or questionable things people say or ask when they are in bookstores as compiled by bookstore employees from all over. Reminds me of a few 911 calls...
